Hi, I’m Clara!


The summer before my first semester at Berklee, I was super nervous. Was I a good enough musician? Will I do okay in my Entrance Exams (ESPA)? I remember self-studying ear training and other Berklee core classes to prepare for the exams. Ultimately, I skipped three levels of ear training and tested into Ear Training 4! With all the classes I tested out of I managed to graduate from Berklee in three years!


Since then, I've helped countless other students achieve the same - save time and money by testing out of class and graduating as soon as possible. Ear training is only one of the classes you can test out of, but with practice, it's also one of the easiest to test out of! I hope that my online courses will challenge you and help you become the best musician you can be.

Music Application and Theory (MAT) is the first of four mandatory music theory/harmony classes at Berklee College of Music. Upon entering the College, students can test into any of the four classes, with the most advanced class being Harmony 4. This class also serves as a solid introduction to Jazz harmony for serious music students, or students who are entering other music colleges. - Basic notation review. - Harmony, rhythm, form. - Major and minor keys. - Triads and 7th chords. - Secondary dominants and modal interchange. - Application to contemporary, Jazz and Pop music.
