As you probably have already noticed, do doesn’t always mean the pitch of C. It can be anything. The important thing to remember is that at Berklee, using the moveable do system, do will always be your tonic (home) note. So if you’re in the key of G major, G will be do. If you’re in the key of Eb minor, Eb will be do.
